Three years at John Wood, 38 building updates, countless hours put into planning, and design but now things are finally being put into the ground! I know if you are like me, driving by and not seeing much happen can be discouraging. Unfortunately that is how this stage goes, but fortunately, the end is in sight for LifePoint. Right now some of the things they are working on are:
- Site Excavation – a process in which soil, rock, and other materials are removed from a site, with the goal of preparing our land to be perfect for our building.
- Footings- have you seen the progress happening at the Denman School? They went from footings to walls up at their gym in just a week or two. This step will allow us to follow a similar track. Which means sometime in July we should see walls!
While these may seem like minor updates it is progress and keeping our new location on the right track. Maas Construction who is managing this project for us recently gave us a construction schedule that has us in a building this year! Thank you for your continued prayers for this project and for the future impact that we will have as a church in this location. Oh and make sure you are following us here and on social media so you do not miss any updates as things go up!
