This is an announcement that has been three years in the making…
Next Sunday (March 11, 4:00-4:40pm), join us for a groundbreaking ceremony at 39th & Harrison! We’ll worship, celebrate, pray, and set-apart this property for God’s purposes in our community and beyond. This is our opportunity to acknowledge all that God has done, all that He is doing, and all that we believe He will do to use this site for His glory!
We have not signed anything official with a bank or Maas construction, but those dominos are lining up – and, we believe, could begin to fall fast over the next days and weeks. We want to be ready to allow work on the site ASAP, as weather cooperates. Your elders are desperate for your prayers. Please pray for the elders of LifePoint as we weigh options and make decisions in the coming days! Our heart in all of this is singular: may Jesus and His mission for our church be the center of each decision. Please join us in this prayer!
Don’t forget: we’re continuing to pray daily as a church at 11:17am (set a daily alarm on your phone as a prayer reminder!). Per Jesus’ heart in Mark 11:17, join us in praying that this would be a place of prayer for all people: a place of rest for the weary, a place of healing for the hurt, a place of hope for the lost. As we ask for God’s continued provision and guidance for the building logistics, we’re also asking that God keep our hearts focused on the mission: leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus. Now and always: it’s all about Him!
Can’t wait to celebrate together Sunday afternoon! See you at 4pm.
[We’re looking at about a 30-40 minute celebration. If that’s too long to remain standing, don’t hesitate to bring a lawn chair.]
