LifePoint Kids Science Night

November 14, 2018 by Joe Mally

If you are like most families, your Holiday schedule is filling up fast! Mark November 28th on your calendars and join us for The Amazing Chemistry Show. LifePoint is hosting this educationally entertaining stage production for the entire community to enjoy. (Note: The show is geared for kids aged K-5th grade).

In The Amazing Chemistry Show, Josh Denhart entertains audiences with explosions, colored foam, liquid nitrogen and glow-in-the-dark solutions. He uses the fast-paced and engaging science experiments to captivate kids and adults while sharing about the love God has for them. He offers an upbeat and light-hearted event that makes it easy for Christians to invite family, friends, neighbors and co-workers.

Here what others have to say about Josh:

“In 30 years as an English teacher, coach, assistant principal, principal and superintendent, Josh Denhart is THE finest teacher of my experience. His intellect, creativity, passion, effective questions, unique illustrations, exciting experimentation, and tremendous educational applications engage audiences of all kinds. I could watch his chemistry show a hundred times and always be excited about the content and methodologies. If you want kids to be excited about science, schedule Josh Denhart to make multiple presentations. This event is well worth the expense. You will receive an outstanding return-on-investment.”– Bob Stouffer (Superintendent Christian School)

“Josh Denhart’s Amazing Chemistry Show is not only very entertaining, but more importantly, his illustrations of Bible truths are rock-solid. He certainly creates chemistry with his audience, and he also leaves them impressed with the spiritual principle being illustrated. I’ve seen others whose “show” overwhelms the truth. Josh is different — his spiritual applications come through clearly, and demonstrate a well-thought out Biblical foundation and application. He makes truth explode (sometimes, literally) with meaning!”

Building Update #4

August 28, 2017 by Joe Mally

Excited with Anticipation

When I joined the LifePoint staff in June of 2015, I was excited with anticipation: Anticipation of what it would be like to be at LifePoint; What it would be like to become part of the LifePoint family; To join this church that was growing, changing, and responding to what God was doing. Well, fast forward to now and this anticipation still exists. I love being part of the LifePoint family.  When you hired me to become your children’s pastor, I had no idea how greatly God would move for LifePoint Kids.

In case you’re not already aware, there are lots of kids that are part of the LifePoint family. In fact, since I’ve joined staff I’ve seen a 40% increase in weekly attendance for LifePoint Kids. As more and more families make LifePoint their home I can’t help but be excited: Excited to see God at work; Excited to see God bring so many kids through the doors to hear the truths about His word.

These facts bring me back to the anticipation. A building is no means to an end, but as we respond to the growth God is giving us, it brings me anticipation. LifePoint family: God is using us to impact kids’ lives for the gospel and a building is going to help us do that even better. You see the vision laid for the kids in our church is this: LifePoint Kids exists to inspire a love for Christ founded in Scripture, in an environment rich with teaching that is both relatable and takeable. My hope is that by giving the kids their own space we can build up all elements of this vision: That we are able to continue reaching the kids in a way that they have a love for Christ; That they can relate and take the truths of the Bible with them. LifePoint family, I’m excited with anticipation about how God is going to continue to use us. I’m excited with anticipation about how God is going to reach more kids for the gospel.
